Located on the Iberian Peninsula, Spain is the second largest country of the Southwestern Europe and European Union. Spain has held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union since 1st January this year. Spain has been subject to many external influences but for the other regions, the country has been an important source of influence. Spanish is the world’s second most spoken language. If you plan for travel to Spain you will enjoy there a lot. Here is a short guide to the popular cities to visit in Spain.

Madrid:

A large city of Spain, Madrid gets attraction of visitors for pace of life and diversity of the city. There are a lot of activities waiting for you in Madrid. Many of them are free to make your stay more enjoyable and economical. The world famous art gallery the Reina Sofia has free entry every day but for a limited time. Barcelona:

Granada:

It has very beautiful gardens and architect. Another interesting thing to do in Granada is eating free Tapas which are free for each drink you buy from there. Another place worth seeing is Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada. These are green mountains located between Granada and the sea.  Public transport in this area is dangerous. Valencia:

The third most populated city of Spain, Valencia, has many attractions for you to spend a couple of days there during your travel to Spain. Lass Falls is a very famous festival of the Valencia city. Most of the festivals in Spain are based on some particular event such as running in front of the bulls and aforementioned food fight. Same is the core of Lass Fallas festival. Fallas sculptures are constructed and then burned in this festival. There is so much more for you to enjoy the festival.
